MINDFULNESS
Mindfulness Yoga is all about allowing yourself to emerge in the present moment. Being mindful of your breath as you move and hold each posture. Each exhale lets go of any negative stressful energy and each inhale bringing in positive, peaceful, and warm energy. It’s important for each of us to take a moment for ourselves each day. Whether it be in the morning, afternoon or evening. A simple 15-20 minute self-time out will help you re-balance your mind, body, and spirit. So find a quiet space, turn off your phone, and start yoga.
I strongly believe that yoga helps one to release subtle stress from the body and bring positive changes. It helps in healing your mind, body and soul by bringing them together and gives good feel to your body.
It’s my personal experience that I am sharing with all of you here. Yoga changed my entire life. It helped me to get rid of fighting thoughts in my mind, which was always been a obstacle in achieving mindfulness.
How It Works ?
Include stretches in your daily routine like back stretches, neck and shoulders, spine stretches, hamstring, thighs and calf stretches as well.
While stretching give relaxation to your muscles by taking deep breaths and focus on the stretch area and release subtle stress from your body.
The best way to feel your body is while inhaling focus on the tip of the nose and during exhaling sink your breath in the middle of your chest. This is the amazing way to feel your body .
In short Mindfulness is the psychological process of purposely bringing one’s attention to experiences occurring in the present moment without judgment. One can develop this through the practice of meditation and through other training.
I will share few stretches and yoga poses for mindfulness in my next blog.
